Launched in 2002, Sumo Power has earned its reputation as Britain's leading supplier of Japanese Performance parts. Over the past eight years, the company has built and raced all types of cars, from Fast-road, Drag, Sprint, Drift and Time Attack to Circuit Racing. Having extensive stocks of top-quality parts along with an efficient mail order service, has made Sumo Power one of the biggest names in the tuning industry. Having been acquired by the JRM-Group in 2009, it opened a purpose-built, state-of-the-art, 50,000 sq ft workshop in Rye, East Sussex.
The company can offer a complete range of services including full workshop, engine building, transmission re-building and chassis development, dyno testing, machine shop/engineering, bodywork repairs and painting & fabrication, and obviously routine service and repair work, on ANY vehicle. Located in the same building are Sumo Power GT, who are the only British entrants in the FIA GT1 World Championship, racing a pair of Nismo GT1 GT-R's the organisation has a massive wealth of knowledge covering every area of motorsport and tuning.
